Frye's Sweeper
& Sewing Center, Inc. has been in business
since 1945. The business was started by Clarence
Frye. Robert Frye started with his father in 1968.
They opened the first store at 1533 Fourth Street
. In 1973 they moved to their present location
at 1400 Valley View Blvd. Robert and Linda purchased
the business in 1981. The store has since expanded
three times. The latest addition was a room where
sewing classes are held.
